ALL EVENTS in the Bay Area Council must have a Camp Reservation ! This is a reminder. For Council & Dristrict Events, Reservations Must Be Scheduled 90 Days in Advance of the Event. All UNIT & Others are Due 2 Weeks in Advance (4 weeks would be better as we are trying to get Campmasters lined up) of the Event This is the Camp Use Policy of the Bay Area Council ! Yep there are 2 Camp Karankawa’s Bay Area Council - Karankawa near Sweeny TX and South Texas Council- Karankawa out of Corpus I get several calls wanting to make reservations here, only to find out that you think your calling the Other Camp Karankawa. Camp Karankawa Orienteering Course

This is a great orienteering course for scouts to tryout their skills. Before you get started don’t forget to carry plenty of water and tell your scout leder what your are doing. Where to get started? Go to the covered Pavilion (#13 on camp map) near the Leaders Lodge and Dining Hall. Calibrate our pace using the pavilion foundation. The foundations 80′ x 80′.
