South Texas Council- Karankawa out of Corpus

I get several calls wanting to make reservations here, only to find out that you think your calling the Other Camp Karankawa. So I thought I would add this article to help. You can follow the link below to get to the South Texas website.

Archery, Rifle & Shotgun Range Use

Units wishing to use the Ranges at Camp Karankawa , now have to have a 

Certified Instructor and A Range Safety Officer

This is the New requirements from the National Council to use the Ranges in any Scout Camp.

So Please Plan accordingly .

Also Copies of these Certification should be sent along with your reservation form.

for a mere 20 hours of service you can be one of the few that has earned this beautiful patch. The service can be done at the Council Office or at Camp K. It can not be earned in conjunction with an OA or Council Workday or OA Ordeal. This is for service above and beyond.
