Before Arriving

  • Make reservations at least 4 weeks in advance. Showing up at Camp Karankawa does not guarantee admittance. Groups have been turned away do to previously reserved events.
  • Reservations for Council or District sponsored events should be requested at least 90 days prior to the event.
  • Make sure all attending scouts, leaders, attending adults and their family have their required medical forms. Click HERE for medical forms page.

Camp Arrival

  • Check in with Camp Ranger before going to a camp site and setting up camp.
  • Please do not plan to arrive before 4:00 PM

While at Camp

  • Follow camp rules (see Camp Karankawa Policy Manual linked above).
  • Be aware of Ground Fire Alerts.

Leaving Camp 

  • Check out of camp with Camp Ranger.
