Reservation Recommendations

#2 Read Rules Sheet sign
Then mail The Reservation and signed copy of the Rules, to the Ranger, NOT the Scout Office.
Before Arriving
- Make reservations at least 2 weeks in advance 4 weeks would be better as we are trying to get Campmasters lined up for Busy weekends. Showing up at Camp Karankawa does not guarantee admittance. Groups have been turned away do to previously reserved events.
- Reservations for Council or District sponsored events MUST (council policy) be requested at least 90 days prior to the event.
- Make sure all attending scouts, leaders, attending adults and their family have their required medical forms. Click HERE for medical forms page.
Camp Arrival
- Check in with Camp Master or Camp Ranger before going to a camp site and setting up camp.
- Please do not plan to arrive before 4:00 PM
While at Camp
- Follow camp rules (see Camp Karankawa Policy Manual linked above).
- Be aware of Ground Fire Alerts.
Leaving Camp
- Check out of camp with Camp Master or Camp Ranger.
